Onur Yuce Gun is a globally recognized computational designer and researcher. He earned his PhD (as Presidential Fellow) and SMArchS (with merit recognition) degrees at MIT's Design and Computation Group. He holds a BArch. Degree from METU as top of the class.

Onur instituted and directed computational design departments both in practice and in academia. He initiated KPF's Computational Geometry Group, and coordinated undergraduate design studios at Istanbul Bilgi University. He taught at RISD, and UAI Santiago, mentored at Pratt Instititue and UPenn. He has been an invited design critic at Harvard, Columbia University, Pratt Institute, UIC and MIT. Onur's work has been internationally published, exhibited and awarded. His PhD research won the William Mitchell++ Award, and the CAMIT Grant. Onur currently develops computational design and manufacturing concepts and methods at New Balance Athletics Inc. as company's first Sr. Computational Designer.
