Tran[S]quility, VENICE [2011] TranSquility is a commissioned experimental media facade project. The project aims to grant maximal visual transformability to Pandora, a tech-development corportion's HQ located on the gateway to Venice, on which it will be functioning. Tran[s]quillity consists of a physically-reconfigurable array of display screens, and for development of this unprecedented facade configuration, we blend computational design techniques with sophisticated mechanical systems. During the development, we use CAD simulations and animations. We build a scale prototype to test feasibility of our design.
